Clippings

I was looking in the spare room today and just had to walk out and shut the door.. the amount of magazines and clippings just waiting to be sorted and sold is overwhelming.

Gone are the days where everything you list on eBay gets snapped up in seconds.. everyone, it seems has caught onto the Clipping Craze as I refer to it.. especially in the last 2-3 yrs. Suddenly you can barely make enough to cover all the costs of supplies to actually buy and ship the item! I remember when people used to pay upwards of $40-$60 a pack and now I find I end up relisting multiple auctions... getting lower and lower in price just trying to get rid of the pack so I can have my spare room back!

I've stopped buying magazines and have been relying on the stack sitting in the closet.. weekly periodicals that span the last 3 years.. Boxes stacked on boxes of clipped pictures.. envelopes stuffed and waiting to be photographed. Somedays I want to dump it all in the furnace and be rid of it! I think if I continue having such problems selling these blasted clippings I will be doing just that. I've already tossed an entire box of Paris Hilton clippings that nobody expressed interest in.. 4 years of her plastic smile taking up space lol.

Blah.. And yet I need my clipping business as it provides me the little pocket money I can get. And it covers the expense of my internet connection.. thus keeping me connected to the World from my own little corner of the Usa.

Soo I should get some fire under my butt and get some more auctions listed.. but I am too tired right now, maybe tomorrow or the day after..
