Casual Deck #2 - 5-Color Elementals (Lorwyn Block Constructed)

At first you might look at this deck list and think that the deck is all over the place.  This deck has a lot of cards with only one or two copies, it only has one spell, and is all five colors!  How can it be consistant?  How can it be any good?  Believe me, this deck is consistant, versatile, and good.  You don't need a lot of spells since a so many of the cards have evoke.  Although it has many ways to play cards of all colors (Shimmering Grotto, Vivid Crag) you can also play them via Incandescent Soulstoke (which you can fetch with the Flamekin Harbingers).  Although you only get the creature for one turn by playing them via Incandescent Soulstoke you also get the all important evoke effect.  If you like this deck check back later for more great deck ideas.  If you think you can make an improvement feel free to leave a comment.

Casual Deck #1 - Lord of the Blowflies
(Shadowmoor Block Constructed legal)
(Standard legal)

The point of this deck is to get out Blowfly Infestation, put out lots of creatures with -1/-1 counters, and then have fun.  With Blowfly Infestation you can turn a spell like Scarscale Ritual into something that wipes all creatures off the board and gets you two extra cards.  Turn to Mist is another versatile tool which can be used to "recharge" your own creatures with a fresh set of -1/-1 counters, be used on the Murderous Redcaps for murderous fun, or be used on your opponents creatures at just the right moment.  If you like this deck check back later and as I will surely be updating it when Eventide is released.  If you think you can make an improvement feel free to leave a comment.

Draft Format # 2 - The Winston Draft

One recurring problem for most casual players who like limited formats and drafting is finding enough players for an 8-man draft.  The Winston Draft solves this problem as it is a great drafting method for just 2 players.  If you don't know what an 8-man draft is check out Eric's Draft Format #1.  Winston Drafting starts out much the same, each player needs to have 3 booster packs worth of cards.  Then simply follow these setps. 

• Open all six booster packs and, without looking at the cards, shuffle them all into one big pile face down. 
  
• Then, without looking at the cards, take the top card of the big pile and start a new pile (pile A), face down.  Repeat this process creating two more piles (piles B and C). 
  
• Flip a coin, roll a die, or decide somehow how goes first. 
  
• The player who goes first looks at pile A and they can either chose to keep pile A or pass and look at pile B. 
  
• If the player chooses to take the pile then they replace the pile with one card, face down, from the big pile. 
  
• If a player passes on a pile they must add a card to the passed pile, face down, from the big pile. 
  
• If the player chooses they can keep passing on piles A, B, and C (adding cards each time).  If a player passed on pile C they can then draw a single card from the big pile. 
  
• Once the player has chose a pile or drawn a card from the big pile their turn is over and then next player repeats this process until all the piles are taken and th ebig pile is empty. 
  
• Player then make 40 card decks using the card drafted this way, and adding any number of basic lands.
