I confess I'm an eBay Guide-O-Holic, because I've written more than 130 Guides on eBay already.  Why?  I believe in sharing information.  Once I had dreams of being a Top Guide Writer.  I watched my ranking improve from the top 5,000 to the top 1,000 and then down further.  I made it into the top hundreds, and I was getting excited, maybe I could make the top 100? 

But low and behold, grim reality struck me down.  Somebody took a dislike to my profilic guide writing, and he or she left negative feedback on every single guide.  I happened in a day.  I doubt they even read the guides!  Then a week later, another feedback bombing, where I got slammed with negative feedback on 100+ guides I had written.  Needless to say, that shattered my dreams of glory in the world of guide writing.

I was going to quit, but then I had a realization.  Even if a few people have the power to sink my ranking, they can't stop my enthusiastic spirit to share.  I might have lousy feedback, but still thousands of people read my guides and never leave feedback.  There's even a few nice people who do leave positive feedback.  I'm going to continue writing more guides.  If I can help just a few people with good information, it's worth the periodic feedback bombing I receive by people who love to hate me.

Who knows, maybe someday I'll get a positive feedback planting, where one or two people visit every one of my Guides and leave positive feedback.  I suppose if bad can happen, maybe good can happen too.

Either way, I've got hundreds more Guides that I plan to write.  You can't keep a good Guide-O-Holic down!
