Giving and Receiving Feedback

Feedback should be an easy and pleasant task to do for both parties.

This is a General Thought on Feedback. I am happy to report I have great repoire with all my customers whether they give feedback or not.

As sellers and buyers, both sides depend on this with Ebay. It allows each person to see the reputability as a seller, and for a seller, it shows the buyer as a guarantee and commitment to that sell. 

Personally, I feel that the seller is responsible for making the 1st contact point of feedback with only a few things in mind: 1) prompt pay  2)communication with buyer 3) transaction went smooth and went through.

Because the seller has to wait for feedback I believe the buyer needs to promptly leave feedback once item is received and based on the facts of the sell. 1)Item received and is satisfied with the sell  2)communication with seller 3)The transaction is complete.

However, sometimes people don't see it that way, so many times. A seller depends on this feedback,to build their reputation, and many buyers take it for granted that they don't have to leave feedback. No one really wants negative Feedback, but I feel ebay would do everyone justice if they could arrange feedback to be in a "pending" status by A Seller to a buyer, and when the buyer returns feedback then, and only then should the feedback become permanent for both sides. If feedback isn't given in the allowed time, then the pending seller feedback wouldn't be "allowed" for  the buyer.

There is nothing more frustrating and a let down then taking the time to leave a positive feedback and then not to receive one as well. Sellers really depend on positive and good feedback to build their stores' reputation.

So that is my thoughts on feedback. So far, I have been fortunate enough to not run into any snags, but sometimes it takes a person far too long, and many emails to encourage the buyer to leave good and positive feedback to make sure the buyer is happy, and the process of selling, shipping, and so forth.

Also, I don't believe there should be a negative feedback selection by the buyer if the seller can't do the same when something has gone wrong. I feel they should just do away with the negative on both parties. But take it to the dispute section until resolved, if it is a serious dispute and cannot seem to be resolved between both parties.  I have been blessed to be able to have such great customers!
