Is It True That It Costs A Fortune To....

Attend The 2008 SDCC  Comic Con   International?

 Well It Just Might Now!

I just checked the Comic Con   web site to see if their 2008 memberships were 'sold out' yet.. and Yes they were!

So with only one week to go, the SD Comic Con   International for 2008 is officialy 'sold out'!

So, checking eBay for 4 day memberships, I find that there are currently, as of this blog post, 57 different listings for memberships listed on eBay! The highest is a an auction with a 'BIN' feature at $800.00 for 2 tickets with a high current bid of $202.50!

The lowest priced listing is brand new at a 99 cent starting auction price with a $500.00 BIN feature!

In the past two weeks, I see in the 'completed listings' on eBay that 2 tickets have sold for a high of $730.00 with 34 bids on the listings, with other closed listings ended ranging from approx $200.00 to $600.00!

I also see that single day memberships have been sold, and the price of course for a Saturday membership alone is one of the highest due to the normal scheduling of Hollywood panels.  However, prospective attendees should check all the programming first, because there are several Thursday Hollywood panels that day including one with Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly for their new Sci-Fi film, and Robert Rodriguez and Rose McGowan for Red Sonja at another panel!

We have been blogging about getting your "tickets" early if you were going, and now with Comic Con only 7 days away from officially opening it is sold out online already! That is a First!

Never fear Kooky 'Kook' the Pig Fans... We already have our memberships and will be blogging about her exploits there after we come back from the Con!

Also I'll be running a few more pics right now and in the days to come of attendees and other programs of past SDCCs for all to enjoy!

Wellllll.... wait till you see the 'final' photo we're running after the
END of the Con!

Can't say right now where it will be,
but we always have a big dinner at one of our 3
favorite places in Downtown SD on the last night
before heading home!!
