Wizard World Texas 2007!

Laura Vandervoort, the New Supergirl on the 'Smallville' TV Show, will be at the November Wizard World Texas!

Altho the Con runs from November 16 thru 18th, Laura will be there ONLY on Saturday and Sunday!

Laura was added as 'Kara Kent', Clark Kent's Kryptonian cousin, in the 7th Season of Smallville.

Laura is a 23 year old Canadian who has previously been on CSI, The Dresden Files, Instant Star and other shows.

rosestxk: Morning!

The coastal areas are in clean-up mode after the fires.

Some of the areas like Rancho Bernardo were hit hard,
that is where President Bush and the Governator toured
together.

All of the area has the ashes all over the ground and in
the houses. Stores are finally getting in respirators and
masks as they had sold out previously.

Fires were still burning yesterday in the mountains, and
the far East County area.

Finger pointing is starting to be seen more in the newspapers
and on TV about who didn't do what, but all in all the firefighters themselves and the police / border patrol agents did an excellent job!

Wow! I've been out of touch! I take it you are or have been in a new location? That has been such a tragedy, michael! I have a friend in LA area who wasn't evacuated, but the smoke was still really bad there, a couple of days ago when we chatted. She said they were fortunate the fires didn't come to them, though were very close. Hope you're able to recover everything and have no losses from this! You have my prayers as well! rockon209: We had to evacuate last Monday due to fire that was coming in our direction, plus ones southeast and north of us.

No losses from the fires, just time lost, which is made up during the evenings or early mornings.

Kind of gave me a new perspective on what to keep and what to sell in the near future! As we only have two cars to evacuate our belongings in!
