For The Upcoming Star Trek Movie?

That's right!

The new 'Scotty' has been cast for the latest of the Star Trek Franchise Movies.

He is Simon Pegg....

Who is Simon Pegg??

He was the lead actor in 'Shaun of the Dead' (2004).

Also was in 'Hot Fuzz' (2007), 'Grindhouse' (2006), 'Mission Impossible III' (2005) and several British TV episodes....

Simon now joins Zoe Saldana as Uhura,  John Cho as Sulu, Anton Yelchin as Chekov, and Zachary Quinto as Spock in the upcoming film which supposedly about the early days of the Starship Enterprise crew.!

makeitso, I love Simon Pegg, he's hilarious. I can't think of anyone right offhand who'd be a better "young version" of Scotty. Thanks for the news, I wasn't even aware they were making a new ST movie---I thought the last one was going to be it forever. VERY happy to hear this news =)

How did I miss this blog? I never watched Shaun of the dead, actually, I guess I missed all of those movies... lol! but glad to hear some good things about him. I can't wait for that movie to be released.. Woohoo!!!

Which is why I usually post a.m. and p.m. on this blog, new crowds come on!!

However in our own domain name blog, I only list once as there isn't anybody other than us posting to it! LOL
