Added To The Cast Of
'The Day The Earth Stood Still'
Jennifer Connelly has signed on to star in The Day the Earth Stood Still, the 20th Century Fox's remake of the classic 1951 SF movie.
This is from 'Variety' who also reported that Kathy Bates is negotiating to star in the movie.
Keanu Reeves has already joined the remake so there will be some 'name' stars in this flick....
For those of you that don't know the story:
The earlier movie started as aliens land on Earth carrying a message for all humans: Live in peace or be destroyed!
Jennifer Connelly will portray Helen Benson, the role that Patricia Neal played in the original movie.
Fox has set a December start date in Vancouver for filming. I did not see when the film is projected to be release.
