The Twin Towers of the World Trade Center...

... have been featured in magazines, books, movies, newspapers etc.

Pictures were taken before the 9-11 tragedy and after which are vivid in our minds.

Matter of fact, the early posters of the Spider-Man Movie were reprinted to take the Twin Towers out of the poster due to the timing of the movie.

However, one thing I've notice is that the Comic Books that have the Twin Towers on their covers have slowly been disappearing from circulation.

Could be that more mainstream readers are buying these for remembrance sake and putting them away....

We have not seen many of these ourselves at conventions, and have been asked if we have any in stock.

Just click on the comic book cover at the top left to see what listings we have for sale should you be interested in this subject.

mario6758: Don't know if they are 'popular', but we don't see them made available for sale where we go to buy for resale purposes.

Could just be people accumulating them at this time.

mario6758: Hi there! Watching the Eagles-Giants game and listing as tonight is last night of "listing sale".

Regarding your question: Comics after 1980 normally have to been in great condition to command any kind of premium. However, if an issue is a 'key issue' like Incredible Hulk #181 the first full appearance of Wolverine, a lot of people would love to a copy in any grade!

Next time you go to a brick and mortar book store chain, take a look in their reference section for Overstreet's Grading Guide. The latest edition has great photos for examples of different grades!

Old comics from the 'Golden Age' 1938-55 can be beat up and sell ok, IF they are popular series, like Gene Autry, Roy Rogers etc. However many comics from that era have little collector interest and command no premiums!

You asked a general question, I hope this answers at least part of what you wanted to know!
