We Will Be Missing The Premiere Of The X-Files Movie...

As We Will Be At the San Diego Comic Con This Week!

So I'll just repost Tina's blog from last month (June 9th) regarding her thoughts on this film we want to see after Comic Con Week:

Our old friends Mulder and Scully come
to a theater near you on July 25, 2008 and I for one, can't wait.  If you haven't seen the trailer yet, check it out online at the official  X-Files  site.  (Sorry I can't give you the link - it's off eBay.) Click on the teaser trailer - it'll get your heart racing.

Just hearing the opening theme music takes me back to sitting home on a Friday night eagering anticipating having the crap scared out of me.  In fact, after the "Worm Man" and that guy who crawled through electrical sockets, I couldn't watch the show unless I had other adult supervision.

Twentieth Century Fox will only say that the story takes place in present time six years after the end of the television show, and it doesn't involve aliens. The movie will be a stand-alone super-natural thriller similar to the creepy scary episodes we loved from the tv series.

If the movie fulfills the promise of the trailer, we're in for an exciting and satisfying time. Setting the action in the frozen north is genius.  Immediately, the characters are isolated in an eerie setting - it instantly ratches up the tension.

And speaking of tension, Mulder says, "I need you on this with me, Scully."  You need her - no kidding!

And, we need Mulder and Scully back!

Meanwhile, if you can't wait for  X-Files The Movie and you need to have the crap scared out of you, check out these classic Horror comics:  'Dark Mansion', 'Ghost Stories', 'Dracula', and 'Frankenstein', oh my!

We have an ongoing Comic Con and Pop Culture  convention here at Make It So Marketing, what with our daily blog posts and listings of items for sale!

Thanks for reading this popular culture - comics - comic books blog post and please come back to visit us again!

Thanks for checking out this blog post today!

For you that are new to us... Tina and I take turns blogging
on different topics.

However I actually 'post' the blog post, so 99.9% of the time
it would be Michael replying to any comments on the blog post
itself!

Please Note: When this blog post falls off the 'front page' of the eBay Blog,
then the 'comments option' is closed until the next blog posting.

If you have an unanswered question or comment after the blog post
comment option is closed... Feel free to click on any of our current listings
and click the 'ask seller a question' link, which will go through the
eBay email Program to us.

We will be at the SDCC during the week of July 23rd, night and day, so
there will be minimal, (if any), blogging or emails replied to during that period!

Those looking for Kooky (Kook) the Pig blog posts.... Kook is here!!

We'll be blogging up until the Convention about her time with us,
but then we'll all be at the Con day and night and unavailable for blogging till we get back!
