Most Recent Posts Getting It GoingPosted Jul-19-08 09:00:09 PDT I'm pleased to see my auctions are running smoothly. Of course, I did make a few minor mistakes any eBay newbie would (ending an auction on a Saturday, misjudging shipping prices...), but experience is the best teacher, right? First and foremost, my name is Marissa. My username was meant to be a mix between "maritime" and "nautical", but, consequently, turned out to be a mix of "Marissa" and "nautical". After all, "Marissa" means 'of the sea'. Which I am quite proud of. (Yes, I love the water.) I believe I am in the process of falling in love with selling clothes. I love clothes. As a person, I've proved to be very fashionably creative. I dress like an artist, because I am an artist. I've also designed a few dresses, merely out of fun. Don't get me wrong: I don't want to be a fashion designer or anything, I just know how to design fashion. I appreciate quality clothing. Yes, those brands like American Eagle, Victoria's Secret, and Abercrombie & Fitch are more expensive, but it's really worth it. Anyone who loves brands like these know that if given the choice between a brand that's cheap, fits in all the wrong places, and falls apart after a month, versus a brand that is more expensive, fits comfortably as well as fashionably, and lasts for a number of years, a smart shopper will buy the more expensive brand. But how cool is it when something like eBay comes in and knocks down those prices of the expensive brands? That's right: it's pretty dang cool. Pretty dang cool indeed. |
