How many times do you relist?

Good moring Bloggers!

I have a question for you... I have been relisting two of my items for a while now and wonder if maybe at some point I should just stop?

Just once, then I put it in my store.

Depending on the value of the item....I usually only relist once....then wait a month. this seems to help.....if it is a lower value item....I won't relist again...as I'm losing money with the listing fees. Hope this helps you out!!

All my stuff is store inventory so it relists every 30 days all on its own, except for the ocassional auction I have. Your call, if its not getting the hits or questions of interest, its all a matter of how much your willing to pay to keep it up there.

Hey skeletons and jaztnr!

Thanks for your advise. If it doesn't sell this time I will wait a month before I relist.

I relist once right away, then if it doesn't sell again I wait a few weeks OR I include it in a lot. After that it goes to some friends who are raising their three grandkids and need all the help they can get!

If your item is not selling after relisting, it possibly means your price is too high. I also sell real estate and there is a good slogan that applies here. "The price is what ever a willing and able buyer is willing to pay." Have you done a search for completed listings to see if the price is inline with what is selling? I suggest lowering the price if the shoe fits. Another suggestion is to improve the number and quality of the pictures for your listing. I would suggest a detailed explanation with pictures of what the item is in the body of your listing. Don't believe anyone that tells you a short is better. Take a look at most of my listings and you will see what I'm saying. It's a mistake if you are not including a picture in the gallery when you list your item. Many will not click on your item if they don't see a picture in the gallery. Think about changing the title on our listing so it is more compelling or describes the item better. I think if I saw your listing I might be able to give you more suggestions. Good Luck!
