The Dispute Console?? What do they do?

I have someone who bought an item at bid on September 14.......and has not paid yet.

I see that the amount owed went into the link for Dispute Console.

What do they do?  If something came up and the buyer can't pay, it's okay with me. I'll just cancel. Can I do that?

Does ebay send the buyer an invoice for unpaid items?

SO many questions~

Click on report unpaid item. Then just follow the directions. If the buyer does not respond in 7 days, then ebay will refund your final value fee. Then you can also leave the deadbeat neg feedback and they are not allowed to leave any feedback for you if they don't respond to the unpaid dispute. Might as well get back your money.

Yes what Gymmom said. You have to initate the process though by starting the unpaid process. Then each time the bidder logs on they get a POP UP screen that says they have an unpaid item. If they do not respond within 7 days then ebay credits you back your FINAL FEE Value and they apply a strile against the bidder. If the bidder get 3 strikes against them they are suspended.

As a responsible seller you should follow the procedures for a no paying bidder so they know there are concequenses for their actions and to protect your fellow sellers. IF you chose to just cancel the bid that is all fine and dandy BUT you will not get your final fees back. At least I do not believe you will.

If someething has came up there is an option that basically states that you and the buyer hae mutlly agreded not to complete the sale. If you choose this option then eBay sends them a note. If they agree to the fact that you bot agrreded not to complete the sale, you can get your FVF back and there is no striek on the buyers account.
