These are the only such examples of this nearly forgotten treasure of the Hawaiian Kingdom.Posted May-29-07 11:43:46 PDT Aloha, After nine painstaking years of restoration and painting I have recreated one Hawaii's most beautiful treasures which were almost all destroyed in 1910. Only one actual authentic bank note is known to exist and it was sold at Doyle's Auction in March of 2006 for nearly $300,000.00. It belonged to the estate of Samuel Mills Damon and was a $10 note. Please take a moment to vist www.mauifitz.com to see my entire collection which are for sale to discriminating collectors of Hawaiiana and old bank notes worldwide including the great, great grandneice of Hawaii's last reining monarch, Queen Lydia Lili'uokalani and other Hawaii Alii and groups. I hope you enjoy looking at them and if you would like to own one or the entire series of six, please contact me at mauifitz@mauifitz.com. Mahalo, Dennis (Maui Fitz) Fitzgerald I am originally from Millbury Mass. Class of '62. Hope to hear from any and all. |
