 | Most Recent Posts Welcome to a new day!Posted Dec-10-07 00:18:44 PST Today starts the first day of what i hope will be a very sucessful business through Ebay. I started my day today with four listings - three for gaming consoles and one for my personal training business. I had only been an hour when I recieved what turned out to be a "spoof" email from a lady in the United States telling me she had paid for my item and that i should send it within 48 hours. I also recieved what looked to be some very dodgy emails made to look from Ebay. For some reason - my listing had also dissapeared and i had not recieved any emails from Ebay to confirm the listing had either sold or been removed. Ever suspicious - I forwarded the emails to spoof@ebay.com and spoof@ebay.com.au who confirmed that the emails were spoof. So, i'm $29.95 down for the final value fee for an item that never sold (attempting to recover this), can't find out why the listing was removed and have not had any feedback emails on the progress. Well, we all have to start somewhere and if this is my somewhere i look forward to the challenge! Lil Meth |
