Most Recent Posts And Breathe!Posted Mar-11-08 10:28:45 PDT Updated Mar-11-08 10:30:49 PDT I know it might sound strange, but breathing is great! We all get tense or depressed at some stage and breathing exercises can really help! It can even help with panic attacks. Slowly breathe in through your nose over 5 seconds. Hold it for 3 seconds. Slowly expel the air through your mouth over 7 seconds. Repeat several times. Try to keep to the guide times I give you. The holding breathe and in through nose and out through mouth are the most important aspects though. But naturally the slow graceful times also help to relax you. You can close your eyes as well if you want, but it isn't so necessary. It's quite a subtle exercise so you can even do it on the bus/train or in a pub without looking weird. Peace and Light Peter |
