Most Recent Posts Happy Labor Day Weekend!Posted Sep-01-07 19:51:37 PDT Updated Sep-02-07 09:58:12 PDT Well, here is the end of the summer for those of us in the Northeast. Already this weekend and last the temps have cooled down a bit and pool water is a bit chilly. But Fall is a beautiful time of year up here and the colors are astounding. It's also back to school time and many parents looking for deals on eBay. Summer vacations are winding down and pre-Halloween, Thanksgiving and all holiday shopping starts fevering up. We will be featuring a great T-Mobile Sidekick 2 this week and may have more items up on Tuesday. So stay tuned and drop in often as we list sporadically now, but still offer great items, honest ads, super fast shipping, and focus on customer satisfaction. We are customers too and hate to be on the receiving end of a negative eBay purchase. Enjoy the weekend all and happy bidding! :-) MillnSue Summer, Movies, eBay, Art, and Lil Laney!Posted Jun-26-07 04:21:22 PDT Happy Summer to all in the Northeast! The temperatures have been crazy here in that you can get 60's and 70's a few days in a row and back to the 90's this week. Maybe El Nino, La Nina, Global Warming, or who knows what else is responsible for this. That being said, we are enjoying the summer months and not listing too much as eBay sales tend to slow down a bit now. We still list our usual comics and a few other miscellaneous items for the taking. We want to let you all know about our up and coming Children's Book Series "Lil Laney Adventures" coming to a bookstore near you. Although this may be within the next year as we are in the process of obtaining an agent who will present our character to a publisher we certainly want to share the funny and sarcastic character with the world. Since Sue is already a published author we think the project will go off pretty seamlessly and you will soon see Lil Laney and her friends in bookstores or greeting card store in the near future. We have created a free temporary site to give everyone a sneak peak at some of the characters and you can see her here at Lil Laney Adventures. Please remember we also create memory Photo Jam-Slideshows from your photos as well as personalized art & portraits. If you are interested in this please feel free to peruse our site at www.MontejosMontage.com . Well, back to the comics and movies out this summer. We saw Spiderman 3 but passed on Fantastic 4 Rise of The Silver Surfer. We feel we can wait for the FF to come out on DVD. Spiderman was okay but a bit of a dissapointment in that it appeared to drag out with alot more drama as predicted and less special effects. C'mon! For us Spidey freaks I can say I go for the special effects! I still think the first movie was the best one. Personally, I can't wait for "Live Free or Die Hard" from Bruce Willis. These movies tend to have alot of action and I personally don't get tired of them. In a summer of heat you want to get wowed by the action blockbusters. Okay enough prosletyzing for now! Have a great summer and stay cool from MillnSue in the Northeast! ~Mill

Spiderman, Silver Surfer & More!Posted Mar-19-07 06:40:09 PDT Updated Mar-19-07 06:50:05 PDT Hello to all my fellow superhero lovers on eBay! I am excitedly awaiting the debut of Spiderman 3 as well as the new Fantastic Four movie starring the Silver Surfer, not to mention Ghost Rider with Nicolas Cage! It's amazing how our heroic icons have caught on into the mainstream of filmmaking these days. I suspect it is because we all have that secret wish to have some super powers of our own on any given day. :-) I will be going back to my childhood love of sketching and pencilling superheroes and may even throw some up here on eBay to offer to the comic art enthusiasts. Although I'm no Jack Kirby, I can still draw a mean Spidey and then some! There will also be some Spiderman comics auctions in the near future as the movie release gets closer. Although I certainly cannot part with some of my favorites from my inventory which is mostly Amazing Spiderman series. Venom comics will be HOT as you may suspect and there will be lots to buy and sell here on eBay. Besides the comics we will be offering up more used golf bags for those golf enthusiasts, some used Nextel phones, books on lots of hot topics including eBay How To's and more. So stay tuned, check back often, or add us to your Favorite Sellers. Have a great week everyone and "Nuff Said!" ~Mill P.S. Check us out on MySpace for some cool superhero pics or just to become our friend! http://myspace.com/millnsue Happy Holidays and Happy Shopping!Posted Dec-02-06 10:52:31 PST Well, here we are as the holidays fast approach! Soon they will be a distant memory again and here in the Northeast at least we may be in the throws of a snowstorm or two. Hopefully this year will be a mild one although we're ready with our 4x4. We're having fun listing some electronics for friends and associates who wish to sell them. We have sold a quality like new DVD player in the past month, a Tao XM2Go Satellite Receiver, and currently selling an original X-Box with 22 games. We are proud to say that we haven't have a problem, complaint, or return from any of these gently used electronics to date. As with our comics sales, we strive for customer satisfaction, secure packaging, low to non-existant handling fees, and a pleasant shopping experience. With all this being said we must return to our comics grading and sorting to get ready for the after holiday listing. So from our family to yours we wish you a safe, and happy holiday season whatever your holiday may be! :-) ~MillnSue Miscellaneous Mills Just Got Back From Big Apple Comic Convention!Posted Sep-16-06 22:36:30 PDT Updated Oct-01-06 15:38:57 PDT Well, I just got back a while ago from the Big Apple Comic Convention in NYC and it was a blast! I met the original "Batgirl" from the "Batman" TV series, Yvonne Craig and took a pic of her as well as getting a nice glossy signed by her. Also met Mark Goddard who played Don West on "Lost In Space." Have a pic of him and I to share as well. Picked up a few cool finds in the Bronze years and I will be posting some tomorrow night on eBay. So feel free to check out our auctions under MillnSue. You won't be disappointed! See The Pics From Big Apple Comic Convention And Some Of Our Collectibles At Our MySpace We're Back But Not Looking Forward To 9/11 AnniversaryPosted Sep-08-06 10:19:18 PDT See The World Trade Center Pre 9/11 Well, as kids head back to school here in the Northeast, 9/11 approaches again, and the heat dies down, we are busy re-listing LOTS of comics on eBay. Speaking of that awful 9/11 anniversary, we have a photo of the majestic towers Mill took in the summer of 2000 that is breathtaking. We have put color copies up on eBay for a minimal starting bid of $1.99 to cover the costs of Kodak paper, and ink, but mostly to share it with the world. We will also be listing comics from Marvel, DC and alternative LOTS. Some of the goodies are Wonder Woman bronze comics, Spiderman, Batman, Superman, Daredevil, Popeye, and so many more. So stay tuned and save "MillnSue" to your favorite sellers so you can get our listings in your email. Let's try to get past the horrible anniversary that approaches, NEVER FORGET, and remember to enjoy our loved ones and life for we never know how long we will have it or them! Nuff said! ~Mill |
