I am looking for some advise from any of you who have a 4.8 or higher in shipping.. or anyone who has drasticly moved there number and is on there way.. Mine is STUCK at 4.7 and I want so bad to hit that next mark before the discounts go into effect.
I am fair on shipping.. I weigh the item then figure a median price to ship it with. I normaly add in about .50 I generally break even and sometimes (but not as often as I used to) have to kick in some of my profit to pay for it. I have been listing like crazy this week and am now using the shipping calculator. Has this helped any of you? If so do you add any handling charges to cover packing.. I use ebay's free boxes so I'm not to worried about that but we all have to buy paper, printer ink, gas, and misc stuff like that. I know there is not a fool proof way but if you guys have any other hints or ways you improved your number please share :)
I'm starting to wonder if people just hate paying for shipping period.. and wait till may when the prices hike again lol.
