DSR I would like some ideas on getting that 4.8 in this please :)

I always make sure shipping is displayed on label so they see what I am paying and a lot of the items I sell I can ship in polybags helps keep the shipping cost down

Ebay's free boxes? Ebay gives free boxes? Or does the USPS give free boxes through Ebay?


I charge for all that extra stuff, but I divide it between customers so they are actually paying LESS

and yes, people hate paying for shipping

thats why I try to offer free shipping when I can

Im in the same boat as you. I got my shipping up to 4.7 last week as it was 4.6. All my other categories are 4.8 and 4.9.

Ive used the calculator and all of that even prior to the announcement. The only thing Im doing different is leaving feedback right away(I used to wait till they left it for me) and I put in my feedback "5 Star Buyer! *****" so they are aware Id give them 5 stars if I were able. I also have been trying to send more emails, a little more personable, but I dont always notify everyone of the day I ship. My stuff ships out so fast they normally have it within 1-3 days of their payment arriving.

P.S. If you ship books magazines DVD's CD's VCR tapes cassette tapes etc. (i think photos too) you can ship Media Mail which is USUALLY cheaper

USPS Gives free boxes with the Ebay branded logo on the side.. I can never remember where I get them from on this site lol every time I have to go hunting but I find them :) I order plenty and need to get some of the new flat rate size I saw at the post office the othere day!

Hi miss! I'm not sure really. Mine's stuck at 4.7 too and even when I offer FREE shipping, it makes no difference.

I stay in contact throught the entire transaction to receipt of the item but in some cases, a buyer might not appreciate all the communication so it's a catch 22.

I'm going to try all this good stuff tomorrow and see what happens within the next week or so. I spent part of my day digging through all the people who had not left yet. Leaving mine and asking for theres. My 1 year anniversary is coming up on the 16th of April and I wanted my next star by then lol :) Begging for feedback at this point!
