Most Recent Posts Question about item returns from a crazy customerPosted Jun-17-08 09:44:57 PDT Hello everyone, We have run into our first BIG snag... unfortunately we have a customer who bought a brand new pair of levi's jeans from us and is now unhappy with the item. We clearly state that the customer is responsible for size matching but will only accept returns on items that don't match the decsription. She is claiming the jeans have a snag on them and is questioning the authenticity of the brand because a levi's label is missing on the back pocket and stating they look as though they have been washed and used. Our jeans came fresh of JC penny, were a gift that was the wrong size, the tags were taking off, but the jeans were never worn, washed or used, and definitely did NOT have a SNAG in them. We are PERFECTLY sure of this and have been EXTREMELY HONEST in our descriptions. We also fear that she may purposefully snagged them and cut a levi's label off. Our problem is we have only a picture of the front of the jeans and not the back for proof. Being still new to Ebay and slowly having successful sales we really don't want negative issues. Is it best to just let her return the item? We fear she may leave negative feedback anyway because the tone of her email was not very nice. I have yet to respond and NEED ADVICE... I posted an item to ship only in US. It has been bid on by someone in the US and has 3 days left. However, a new customer asked if we would ship to Italy. If so he would bid on our item too. Is there a way to still ship to Italy even though we did not add international shipping to our listing? We can no longer revise out listing due to current bidding. Question about Return PolicyPosted Apr-21-08 08:35:15 PDT Hello Everyone!! We have a question again... I know I know.. we ask too many questions..LOL We are new to eBay and just starting out. How important is having a return policy on your items? We have noticed some have extensive policy on how to return items and some poeple have all sales final. Obviously we are selling items for someone else to enjoy them and we are completely honest on all faults that are wrong, if any, with our items in the descriptions. Is it helpful though to be successful on ebay to have a return policy? and how extensive should it be? Any advice would be appreciated from both buyers and sellers points of view! Thank you, MnB
Shipping Rate QuestionPosted Apr-16-08 18:32:06 PDT Hello Everyone!! I have a question about postage and shipping rates. Is it better to have the shipping calculator as an option for the buyer to calculate shipping according to where they live or is using the flat rate shipping better?
