Just to let you in on a little idea that came to me about money orders.

When you buy with one, ALWAYS save both the reciept from the actual money order itself and the one you get from the location you bought the money order such as Hy-Vee just in case you have to ever return the money order.  Sometimes the seller cannot cash it and sends it back to you.

Another idea:

If you are a seller do not cash the money orders you recieve until you get the positive feedback from your buyers.  If the buyer isn't satisfied, or if the item was clothing and it did not fit perhaps they would want to return it.  If this happens and you already have cashed the money order, you'll have to get another one for them, or pay them back somehow rather than just send the original back to them when you recieve the returned item.

 

To avoid this altogether use pay pal or no return policies.  The thing is people like myself do not wish to use paypal and always use money orders so by limiting payment methods you decrease available bidders.
