Let me take the religious aspect out of suicide for this comment. Hypothetically-speaking ONLY, there is NO God. We are born, we live our life, and then as some point, we die. That is the end. When you die, you are buried in the ground, or perhaps cremated. Either way, there is NO God and there is NO afterlife of any sort. You are gone forever !!! However, if a person commits suicide because of financial problems that they are having, or because of relationship problems they are having, or because of depression, or because they are gay and feel like the negative comments they hear or read about gay people make them a bad person and that they should end their life because of what they have heard or read, then I think there is a problem. Even if there were NO God that would be sad that one of his creations ended their life, and that person simply died at their own hand, etc. That person who is considering suicide has to look at the positives in their life. It is often to see something positive in life when a person is suicidal. Even if there were No God that loved that person about to end their life, that suicidal person has a lot to offer the world. We all have the ability to make the world a better place. Some may make the world a better place in a big way and some may in a very small way. The small ways can add up to make big changes. Just saying hi to a neighbor or a stranger on the street or at a store makes the world a better place. Just by saying hi, we acknowledge that person and they will likely feel better by being ackowledged. Find your reason to live. Don't end your life. Whether God exists in your world or not, you can use your life to better the world. If your family has rejected you for some reason, that is VERY sad. However, you can go on in life and create a NEW family of friends that will replace the love that your real family should have never stopped showing you. God or no God, we are each loved by someone. Turning off the NO God mode...I do believ
