I just discovered a box of machinist tools (taps) of assorted sizes in my cupboard. I have looked online for a fair pricing of these items, but don't seem to be getting anywhere. These are never been used sets. Most are 3 in a box.

Spring cleaning is bringing lots of surprises to my household. Books that were put away are now found again, old tools, baby blankets from days gone by... ahhhh the memories....the list goes on...

I know that there are people who check out my blog and listings- thanks! I am having a wonderful time here on ebay. It is fun and exciting, especially when I get to send off great products to my winning bidders. PLUS I love the wonderful feedback. It makes for letting go of certain items not so painful :)

Ok, I did it.
The book I just read has now been listed. Carrot Cake Murder by Joanne Fluke.

Since I have several Masonic events to go to this week I am going to try out some of the cookie recipes. I tried the Black Forest Brownies tonight. They are DELICIOUS and very moist. I used maraschino cherries (very well drained). I did not frost them, but think I might try that next time.

Cooking makes me feel good. Does anyone else get a "high" from cooking or baking? My family always raves about the good smells that come from the kitchen and it makes me feel good to know that they appreciate it so much.

I bid on and won a book by Joanne Fluke (Carrot Cake Murder). The book arrived yesterday and guess what- I am done reading it. I love her books.

I can relate to the main character, Hannah, as she is a bit nosey like myself and has a heart of gold. I love the recipes this book has to offer. I am going to copy them and put them into my favorite cookbook (along with the other recipes that I have acquired in my reading). My family loves being my test subjects as I try out the various recipes.

So, this book will go on one of my auctions soon. Yesterday, while in a bookstore, I saw an autographed copy of this same book and almost purchased it. The cost was $22.00 (hardbound). Like I said, I almost purchased it. Maybe I should have gotten it. Awhile back I had up for auction an autographed paperback book by Joanne Fluke. I knew it was autographed but didn't tell the bidder. I wish I could have seen the face of the winning bidder when the package was opened. So much fun!

Well, I do that sometimes. Always good suprises though.

I got mail saying that I had been picked to be a juror. Woohooooo!!! I am so excited. The last couple of times I was picked, I couldn't do it- I was too far along in pregnancies. (Bummer).

Well, no pregnancies here for me this time. I am roaring to go and do my duties. I wonder what it will be like.
