I'm trying my hand for the first time making cheerleading bows. I've got a small squad with limited budgets and thought these would be so cute for them. What do you think?

Since I have been old enough to pick out my father's Christmas gifts, I have struggled with finding something for him. Maybe you guys can give me some input. Let me tell you a little about him: He's 57 years old, a workaholic, recently bought a Harley Davidson that he loves riding, and his only other hobby is sitting in front of the TV watching Discovery Channel, The Learning Channel, Animal Plant or similar channel (DVDs out because he won't even consider it...lol). And that's my father in 50 words or less. :) It's so hard to shop for him because if he decides he wants something, he just goes and gets it. And since Christmas is on a budget for us, well that makes shopping for him even harder. Anyone have any suggestions? If so, PLEASE list them! If you have something at auction, provide me with the number and I'll be happy to take a look.

 

Thanks for stopping by my blog!  This is my first entry (as I'm sure you can tell) and I thought I'd take a quick moment to say hello and introduce myself.

My name is Kim and I am the overworked, underpaid, and unappreciated mom for who this blog is titled. (I bet you guessed that already! lol) I am a stay at home mom of three boys:  Matt, 14; Jordan, 10; and Eli, 23 months.  Oh, I'm almost forgot my fourth child, Brian!  Brian is "technically" my 36 year old husband; although he acts much, much younger.  His philosphy in life is, "If I act young, I am young."  Whatever works for him, I suppose!

With this blog I'll subject you to the mundane details of my life.  I'll also take you along my journey of creating a new at home business.  Through eBay guides I found some ideas of things I can craft and sell on eBay.  Now, let me tell you this, I'm not much of a crafter.  The only craft I have made in the past is candles and I was successful with that, but....  well, now I'm trying something new.  And I have to tell you, if tonight is any indication of how this is going to go, it's not going to take long until I give it up.  lol  I hope I can finally bring it together, learn this craft, and get my new business off the ground.   Will I or won't I?  Stayed tuned and find out!

Ok, that's about it for now.  It's ten until 11 p.m. here and I'm exhausted.  Unfortunately my 23 months old toddler is still running like a wild man through the house so I doubt that sleep comes any time soon for me, but there is ALWAYS hope, right?
