MUFFEY AND ME UPDATES

High School Graduation HELP!

I can't believe it but my son is graduating from high school in two weeks!!  For those of you who have done this before, please help me.  My son is not interested in a graduation party so how do we celebrate this achievement? Looking forward to hear how others have celebrated!

I graduated 6 years ago and had a party (I love parties :-D). But my hubbies family just did a little family get together where they had the grandparents up and ate out. I threw him a party though when he graduated college. I did up a poster with pictures of him through out the years (this is something fun to do even if you dont have a party).

:-D! I am all about making things. I graduated from high school and got married a couple months later. We hand made a lot of things for both graduation and my wedding. I love the personal touch factor in celebrating events :-D.

I am getting into hand made items too. I just learned to knit and I cross stitch. I'm also playing with scrapbooking but there just are not enough hours in a day. The poster idea goes right along with scrapbooking so that is definitely something I will do.

Sometimes if they don't want a party the parents will give him or her the cash that would have been spent, then you can take them out for dinner..

I love posters. If I had one thing to work with all the time it would be posters :-D. You can just do so much with them and they are pretty cheap.

It is probably a boy thing. Hubby wasn't thrilled about his High school graduation (college was another thing). My sister in law is graduating on the 2nd of June and its all we have heard about from her the past couple months :-D.

My daughter is graduating HS next week.

I'm putting together a photo album for her...A through the years kind of thing, starting with the pics I took of her going off to kindergarten.

Inexpensive, but I think it will be appreciated :)
