About Me  | Hemp and AutismPosted Jul-07-08 16:57:37 PDT Some May think this is an Ad for my girl lisa and on some level you're right but its more about my 9 yr old grandson. I bought a lovely Hemp necklace here on EBay from 3040lisa and gave it to my 13 yr old granddaughter for her birthday she loved it and was showing it off. After she'd put it on Brandon, my autistic grandson who stays in his own world most of the time became very animated while looking at the way the necklace was made and he began to count outloud the knots or whatever they are called. We had heard Brandon count outloud when he walked on tiles but this was different he was giggling about this new design as he counted. Needless to say we all enjoyed his reaction but then he surprised us all, his eyes wide and he shouted " A Cat! " as he counted he came to the little Hello Kitty that dangled from it and began to walk up to all of us in the room one at a time (about 12 people) to show us the Kitty and then he went back to counting. What makes this such a great story is this ... Brandon never looks at anyone other than his immediate family and he never speaks above a whisper to his dad when anyone is around. As for the necklace he wears it around his wrist because my grand daughter gave it to him. Good thing I bought her 2 huh? lol Thanks for Reading ... and 4030Lisa if you're out there I'm gonna need more of those necklaces soon lol
