What was I doing wrong? 

Well, I didn't realize that, in order to use HTML I had to check the "View Source" box. Once I did that, I got this notice from eBay at the top of the page:

Still nothing.....

(Post edited) This was an exploratory step. I was trying to see whether I could embed a slide show of "coming attractions" into the blog. It didn't work. So it's back to the old drawing board, as they say.

What will you find here?

• Previews of Coming Attractions --- I'll be including information about some of the items I'll be offering on eBay before they are listed. (Please note: these items will be listed on ebay, please do not ask me to sell them "off-ebay").
• Details about Current Listings --- From time to time, I'll be talking more about items that I'm already offering on ebay, providing more details or new slants about some of the items.
• Details about Past Items --- I'll also be talking about some of the items I've sold in the past.
• Research Notes--- I like learning about the past and artifacts and attitudes of the past. I'll talk about some of the research I've done.
  
• Opinions and Insights ---- I'll be talking about ebay and eCommerce in general, and using some of my items as a springboard for thoughts about a wide variety of topics, anything from genealogy to geology, religion to politics.....maybe I'll even generate some interesting discussions here.
