Repost: Please read, I really need your help!Posted Dec-16-06 19:19:55 PST Hi! and Thank you for taking the time to read this, I know it is long. My-Treasures is a husband and wife team (Val & Sig). We have five beautiful children - Siegfried, Lorraine, Samuel, Emily & Edward. We started selling on eBay as a hobby. As time went on and I (Val) could no longer work due to my disability and Sig had to stay home to tend to my needs and the needs of our children (three are disabled, with various health, emotional and developmental issues), eBay became the logical choice for us. During this past year my health has gotten worse, physically. They have diagnosed me with Fibromyalgia, but think it could be MS. I have a spot on my brain in the area where MS occurs. I have been going through lots of injections and therapies to help the pain, to no avail! I usually work when the pain, fatigue and brain fog are at a minimum. Last year around Christmas time we were doing wonderful on eBay. We were even able to put a few dollars away for a rainy day. Well the rainy days came……..for a lot longer than we thought. From about February to October our sales could not even cover our expenses, let alone our household bills. We have had to do a lot of asking for help. Since we don’t have family to help us out. Now that our youngest is in school for part of the day, we had decided we would close our eBay store in January. And just run some auctions after that. Then my husband could get a part time job while the kids are in school. He can only work while the kids are in school since I can not take care of the (I can hardly take care of myself). We figured since the holidays were good on eBay last year, we would wait until the holidays were over this year. Well, eBay has been a big disappointment to us this year. We are not able to meet our bills. This is going to be one of our most difficult Christmases ever! Not only are the gifts going to be sparse, but so will the food and hopefully nothing will be shut off for non-payment. We have spent so much money listing on eBay and have nothing in return. Right now, I am turning to all of my eBay and online friends. I sure hope you still need a gift for Christmas or just something for yourself or home. We have plenty to sell. We can get it to you in time for Christmas. We need the money so bad, we are working our butts off! Please, if you can take a look and see if there is just one thing you can buy. I am not looking for any handouts, we just want to sell our stuff and make our money that way. Whenever a fellow eBayer has needed some help, I have stepped up and helped out. When we are having a good week on eBay, I try to help even more and I always turn to my friends on eBay to do some shopping. But now, I really need the help. We have already tried all the community recourses for help. Some are dry and some did help a little. The only way for us to make ends meet is to do it ourselves. And the only way we can is eBay. So please, please take a look and see if you can buy just one item. Thank you so very much! I am off to church now with my family.
