Here's wishing all of you a Merry Christmas! I hope you get what you want both under the tree and on your Ebay bid list. :) I posted this early because I don't know when I will be able to log in again since there is so much to do here. Relatives visiting, gifts to wrap, cookies to bake. You know the drill. Busy but fun. Open to SuggestionsPosted Dec-17-07 05:48:06 PST Well today is my B-day. I woke up to two surprises. One good and one bad. I have won a contest and the prize is two books by an author I like. Its a nice way to start the day. However, when I logged into Ebay I saw I have some problems on some auctions I won. Apparently this one seller added items I bought from them back in mid November to the two I won last night. I kind of wonder how that can happen. Especially since I paid for everything from November with Paypal and so they must have a record of it. I sent them my comfirmation email with the noted payment but this is one of 4 problems I have had with this seller. The other 3 were easy to take care of but this 4th one seems a bit...much. I like the items this seller lists and it's going to be hard not to want to bid on their future auctions if these problems keep popping up. This is only the second time I've ever had trouble with anyone on Ebay and it never goes well so I'm crossing my fingers that all turns out well. Anyone have any suggestions for me? Snow Everywhere!Posted Dec-16-07 04:07:23 PST Well I woke up a few minutes ago and Oh Boy..there is alot of snow outside! I need to get myself out there and start shoveling it off the walk and stairs but I'm an Ebayer at heart so I ran to my computer first to make sure I won a few of the auctions I bid on the other night. Ebay is so addictive! It's fun winning the auctions and sometimes I think the part of the winning is even better than getting the things you bid for. Is that crazy?!? I hope not. Anyhow, I better go get my coat and boots..It's going to take a while to clear a path out there. To all fellow Ebayers who got snow also... may your arms never tire, your endurance last, and your family and friends grab an extra shovel to help you. Take care... Just....wrongPosted Dec-14-07 04:51:58 PST The other day my uncle's house was broken into. The people who did it didn't just take things but they further shamed my uncle by leaving evidence that they had hung around the place for a while chilling out and drinking soda and such. Man, did that get me mad. I mean come on! Stealing around the Holidays! Thats just wrong! I know some people don't have it as good as others but you know what, if they would swallow their pride and ask for things they need and maybe want..they really might get it. My uncle is a very giving man. He's patient and has a good word for everyone. In fact I don't think you could be near the man and not laugh within five minutes of meeting him. Every Chirstmas he donates food and never passes someone in need without giving a little something to them. But this Christmas his Holiday spirit is gone and I don't blame him. It's really a shame there are people in this world who do things like this. *sighs* Holiday MayhemPosted Dec-11-07 06:11:30 PST Well, the race is on for the perfect gift. I'll confess I did a lot of shopping on Ebay and other online places but I am stumped on what to get a few people. What do you get the electronic-gizmo-guy who seems to have everything? And what can I send overseas to the military for friends and family there who are serving in the war. True that supplies and food would be welcome but I would kind of like to give them something to unwrap if you know what I mean. *Sighs* The holidays can be confusing sometimes. If anyone has any suggestions, please feel free to post them. I'd be grateful! |
