Before I was a Mom:
 
 
 *I never tripped over toys or forgot words to a lullaby. 
 *I didn't worry whether or not my plants were poisonous. 
 *I never thought about immunizations. 
 
Before I was a Mom–

 *I had never been puked on. 
 *Pooped on. 
 *Chewed on. 
 *Peed on. 
 *I had complete control of my mind and my thoughts. 
 *I slept all night. 
 
Before I was a Mom- 
*I never held down a screaming child so doctors could do tests. 
 *Or give shots. 
 *I never looked into teary eyes and cried. 
 *I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin. 
 *I never sat up late hours at night watching a baby sleep. 
 
Before I was a Mom-
 *I never held a sleeping baby just because I didn't want to put them down. 
 *I never felt my heart break into a million pieces when I couldn't stop the hurt. 
 *I never knew that something so small could affect my life so much. 
 *I never knew that I could love someone so much. 
 *I never knew I would love being a Mom. 

Before I was a Mom- 
 *I didn't know the feeling of having my heart outside my body. 
 *I didn't know how special it could feel to feed a hungry baby. 
 *I didn't know that bond between a mother and her child. 
 *I didn't know that something so small could make me feel so important and happy.
 
Before I was a Mom- 
 *I had never gotten up in the middle of the night every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay. 
 *I had never known the warmth, the joy, the love, the heartache, the wonderment or the satisfaction of being a Mom. 
 *I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much, before I was a Mom. 

Just want to get into the Mother's Day mood !

What is your funny story about being a Mom ??

 I have a million stories (feels like a million) of my own but will share one today ---

My son was always running out of shirts because they were getting torn and the buttons were off. I could never figure out why these shirts were being torn up all of a sudden. I chalked it up to hand me downs so I bought him new shirts and still these new shirts were torn in the sleeves , under the arms, hhhmmmm????

So , finally I asked him what is going on -- what are you doing to tear these shirts up ??

I was playing the Incredible Hulk (remember that show??) and ripping out of my shirts.

Well, of course, I was angry (while  smiling on the inside!!) and explained these shirts cost money don't do it again.

My son is now in his 30's and I will always remember that one!!

What's your stories of being a MOM???

Just need to make a few bucks extra each week -- I can step up the ebay listings , and I will, but what is another way?

I am still investigating the call centers and I will let you guys know what I find out.

I have been considering working for a call center at home.

Does anyone else or do you know someone that does??

Is it worth the trouble and time -- can one make some decent income?

I like Ebay -- but not for steady income -- just need that steady money coming in that I can count on.

I love to yardsale and haven't had a chance to get out yet.
