I don't plan on going because there's not enough people that I want to see to pay for an expensive ticket. If I really want to see someone, I'll contact them. And the place where its located at is nice but it could be better. I've paid the same price for a prom ticket and went to awesome fancy hotel in LA. But then again, that was 10 years ago. Still I thought they would find a better place than a plain golf course (and its not one of the nicer and expensive golf courses either). I would pay for a pricey ticket for nicer place, but that's me. What do you think? Did you go to your highschool renuion(s)? What was your experience like? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. Movies worth PAYING for this summer!Posted Jun-29-08 20:32:23 PDT My Husband and I saw 2 movies today that's worth paying for: 1. Wall-E 2. Get Smart If you like animations, comedy and adventure, then these 2 are definitely worth watching. I'm not going to give it away since it just came out in the theatres. Wall-E is very heart warming and Get Smart is funny with a twist at the end. Bring the kids, they'll enjoy both. Word of advice for young kids, make sure that they don't talk during the movie because it pisses everyone off. If you get to see it, hope you enjoy it. Cheers! Raging Waters - San Dimas, CAPosted Jun-22-08 20:32:00 PDT Want to cool off during the summer? Go to Raging Waters! They have 3 different locations in Southern CA, but I chose the San Dimas location. My Husband and I went yesterday. We haven't been there for about 7 years. It was great but we got there towards the end of the day and stayed for about 3 hours. Which was okay because we bought a season pass. They have their 2008 Season Pass for Sale. Buy 2 for $99. This is an AWESOME deal! Regular per person is $75 (after the sale). I don't know when it ends but it won't last for long. I also bought a season parking pass for $40, which is worth it because we're planning to go almost every other weekend (maybe every weekend if we can do it). Normal parking fee is $10 and since we're planning on going more than 4x, the season parking pass has paid for itself. I bought our season passes online but when we got there we still had to wait in line because we had to exchange our paper tickets for photo id passes. Which sucked because we were in line for an hour in the hot sun, yuck! But at least we were able to go in the park for a few hours. The season pass is good for all 3 Raging Waters locations in Southern CA. Check out their website for more info. San Dimas is about 1.5 hour from where I live. Which isn't so bad since the traffic is not so bad. So this had been the best investment for my Husband and I. I'd rather go to Vegas but I can't afford spending $500 every weekend. So this is great because for $139, my Husband and I can go anytime without spending too much money for the next 3 months (we're mostly going to spend money on renting lockers and food). The downfall is that they close early. You have the check their calender because its different during the weekdays, but on the weekends they close at 7pm. My Husband and I are going next Saturday again. This time, I want to be there when they open at 10 am. I don't want to be there the whole day and I want to be able to go on the water rides before it gets packed. So this is an FYI for anyone who is interested in going to Raging Waters. Have Fun!
