I'm making the most of time while I'm waiting for poly clay buttons to finish baking.  I'm trying a new image transfer technique.  Post the results as soon I get done. 

Anywho...while I'm waiting I figured it would be a good time to update my blog just in case anyone is interested.

This, of course, was inspired by the art on the cover of this month's Somerset Studio.  It just looked too fun to pass up.  And it's been a lot of fun working on it so far.  There are a few more areas that I'll need to tweak and I think I should be completely done with it in a few hours.

I should be sleeping but this afternoon I took some allergy meds that absolutely wiped me out so now I'm wide awake.  Gotta love it.

Oh wait, I just yawned so I might still be able to get some shut eye tonight. 

Either way I figure since I'm awake I'll catch up on a few things.  One of them is updating this eBay blog.  So here I am...

The past 2 weeks or so have been both amazing and busy...we've had quite a few exceptional services at church, started a new blog-besides this one, started a new dollar store and have been working frantically trying to fill it with goodies.  And I've been working on some holiday collages. 

I have 1 shadow box collage that I particularly like.  I just added a rusted tin insert and will be working on the collage face front of it tomorrow.





Then I started a second shadow box inspired by a piece I saw in the Somerset Workshop 2, but I don't have any photos of that one yet.  Maybe tomorrow.

I get it.  I was trying to figure out how to get the whole "blog" "My World" thing to work.  And I figured it out.  To change the style of the blog you need CSS.  Ah well...thanks all for your concerns.
