Gas prices this week.... argh!

Well I'm glad I got off to work early Tuesday morning so that I could stop and get some gas for $2.72 a gallon as now it's up to $2.86-$2.89 at the stations around here.  I'm hoping that $2.78 that Sam's Club is still holding at that price !!!

What kind of out of sight prices are you seeing??

I cannot wait to be able to afford to buy a new hybrid car that gets 40-50 miles per gallon in town!!!

Oh hun ours this morning in Amarillo, Texas is $3.09

They said on oour news that it is only the beginning! Predicting $5.00 by August!

Well if it goes much higher my day job doesn't pay me that well so I will probably work 1 day less to save gas $$ as I cannot afford a new car and I'm only getting 16 miles per gallon so I burn 1 gallon round trip to work/home. I do all my stops on the way to and from work and days I'm off I don't move the car. I could have all the money in the world and I'd still be the same way with conserving my fuel. The only thing different would be I would buy a new car that was a hybrid.

Here gas is like $3.65 a gallon....yikes! $2.72 is nothing compared! if there is a costco around you for about same prices but better quality won't burn out quick! I put in like 96 gallons and yet went about 17 miles the ol' cheap gas burned 30 miles...now that's a bummer!

Yesterday, it was $2.95/gallon. This morning, it jumped up to $3.19/gallon!!

I heard $4.00/gallon by summertime!

public transport is cr*p we dont have a bus here in this village and the one that goes past the top of the road only goes thru once an hour its noisy dirty smelly slow and expensive....

we have enough oil in our own country, with no need for imports, but everyone says not in my back yard, they can drill in my back yard if they want.
