Happy springtime everyone ,

During this last month or so i have constantly been trying to find more ethical and eco friendly ways in which i can run my shop ,some of the ways i try to be more eco friendly are to :

Email my customers any information -ie i sold a herbal starter kit -with information on how to prepare herbal products etc,i emailed my customer these as he can then print as and when he needs therfore saving more trees ....

I also never put in the paypal slips as i feel this is a waste of paper again ,

Any my biggest bug bear of the month has to be ways in which i can ethically pack items without them breaking ,The bubble wrap is a complete nightmare to recycle so ...... Having browse my little fingers off i cam across anothers companies way in which they pack their items and i think its absolutely fandabbydosey !

LUSH products you know that fantastic smelling body shop that lives and breathes economically friendly everything are using POPCORN to pack they gift boxes ! What an idea .. i think as of April 7th i shall start to use popcorn and in the long run really it will save me a heck load of pennies an a heck load of space in the tips !

I would love to know what everyone else thinks of this idea ,no doubt their will be customers who are outraged that their items have been packed with popcorn the same as those who simply think you should wrap a duvet round a small item but as long as i can help save our planet a little at a time then i'm happy ...

Or as i put it im not saving the planet i'm saving my children !

Also how about wrapping items in newspaper and magazines and then sellotaping the address onto the parcel -(obv the name and address will have to be written on plain paper ... This is quite qwirky don't you think and can look stylish all the same ...

Please Please Please let me know what your thoughts are and if you have any other tips that you want to share i'd be grateful of hearing them

So that time again when i seem to go into'nice' overdrive .. i step out of the shadowy winter darkness and open my arms to everyone . . .

... what i ask of your my fellow bloggers is this . I am trying darn hard to think of the best magickaly items for my customers and my little shoppe ..The Real Green Witch .

If you where given the option of making a 3 wishes what would YOU choose  ? These wishes can be for anything ! Obviously i cannot offer you what you want but it would be interesting to see what you truly desire and how i can arrange my products to suit the non wiccan needs . x

Second blog now ..starting to get the hang of things but still please bear with me ...

I don't know about anyone else but does it seem as if everyone has gone into Eco friendly drive ? I think its absolutely fantastic and honestly feel everyone should be playing their part in trying to keep this world alive ! It's our mess so we should clear it right ?

So i've been having a few ideas on recycling etc.. and with the Spring Equinox ,Easter and Ostara coming up on March 20th theirs a few things we can all do to help others and make the rest of the year a magickal one ..

First things first ...

Clear out your cupboards -if you haven't used the items in their in the last 6 months chances are you won't for the next 6 either so donate it to charity or re-sell on Ebay or at carboots .De-cluttering your home leads to good flowing energies that lead to karma for all in the house ... Happy homes happy lives ..

Secondly .. Before Ostara and Easter are here spend 1 day (1 day out of a few hundred wont hurt ) Do all the things that need done ,fix what needs fixed ,wash what needs washed and sew what needs sewn ,Organise and De clutter . Again this means the extra stress is relieved and you can spend the rest of the days doing fun things .

If you have things that are large in your house that you really don't need then theirs always FREECYCLE.COM  you simply put on what your offering and have it picked up from your house . Easy simple and one mans junk is another mans treasure .

Save the pennies where possible . . . Do you really need to buy all that food that gets left in the cupboards ? Try making your own products ,crafts with the kids and gardening too their all fun and free . Go for a walk and pick some wild flowers ,take a picnic ,spend 1 weekend doing only free things ... Save the pennies .. Need to purchase house hold goods .. They always seem to break down at this time of the year .. Go to Clearance-Comet.co.uk for comet items on auction .. Washing machines and fridge freezers starting at £1.. yes thats £1 delivery is about £26 so you can get a brand new house hold items for less than £27 !! WOW .

Old newspapers ,magazines etc... try wrapping birthdays gifts or Ebay purchases with this ,stick on a white label on the front and hey presto free wrap .. Make gift tags with old carboard boxes and cut out pictures from cards to use as gift tags too ..

Get free samples and Free products -they all count at www.free-stuff.co.uk So far ive had free chocolate,perfume samples,baby creams,4 gilette razors for men and women ,free magazines,money off vouchers .. etc...

So happy new year although a little belated ,

So first blog entry a little scary an i suppose i don't really know what to put other than who i am and how i help others .

i am a wiccan -for all those who don't know what a wiccan is it's someone who belongs to the craft or in medieval times a 'witch' Although we aren't burnt at the stake and dowsed into rivers we still have alot of stigma attached to us  We are called freeks ,liars ,cheats and alot more but if i where to stand next to you in say Asdas -You wouldn't know i was any different .

See i was born into the craft and although we done rituals and celebrated some different festivals ,this was not unusual to me or my friends when they came round ,We would spend time in the garden growing plants and picking or harvesting ,We would grow our own fruits and veggies .

We would aid our ailments with oils and leaves and teas ,as a child i loved it and actually felt it gave me alot of life skills i learnt how to cook,grow harvest and heal all before the age of five . -not bad considering .

I also spell weave and have done for so many years all of y spells have worked and no badness has ever come of them ,probably because i won't do a spell unless i know i can make it work and i choose my words carefully .

So please consider what a 'witch' or wiccan is before you purchase an item on Ebay that states its from a witch or wiccan .

A wiccan is one that lives in peace and harmony with the earth ,doing good to help others not for themselves ,If you see a spell costing more than £9.99 and they state they have come from high priestesses etc.. and have a coven in pembrokshire etc.. then this makes NO difference to the potency of the spell as its not the coven thats casting its an individual .

I offer spells on ebay but to be honest i charge no more than £4.99 and my profits go to helping special care and premature babies at my local maternity hospital . Which really is what wicca is about -what you give out you get back times three ,so if you do good ,then good things happen naturally to us ,if we do bad then bad things happen and we have to start charging ridicoulus amounts of money lol :)

So again ,Think and if your unsure about something or if the person is genuine or not willing to answer your questions their probably fake and only badness will follow them .

Also for all of those people who sell Djinn haunted items -Do you even know what a djinn is ?
