Favorite Thread

Okay, all you stitchers lets help each other out here, what is your favorite thread and why is it your favorite thread!  What thread do you have a hard time working with?  Some one may have the answer to how to ease it into your work.

 

Would love to hear your favorite projects, ornaments, framed, pillows etc.,  Do you stitch ornaments as gifts?  What are you favorite hand painted designers, what are you least favorite. 

What is the average price you would pay for a project with threads?

If that includes knitters ..mine would be yarn: Online Como makes really funky and interesting pattterns... $50 is the average for a yarn project for me ... OOOOhhhh and I love painted yarn but it runs a little on the expensive side...

Silk & Ivory, including Trio. The softness of the fiber makes it a pleasure to stitch with. For silk, I like trezibond although it tends to unwind and I have to use fiber glue.

I stitch everything and anything. Years ago, I gave away as presents almost all my finished needlepoint, but no more. It is an expensive addiction and non-stitchers do not have any idea the work it takes to make projects. Now, the needlepoint is for my daughter (who at 22 also stitches)or my husband or me. Only exception, stocking for a nephew.
