"Danube Swabian / Donauschwaben" . . .ethnic Germans who emigrated during the 1700's to and settled villages situated in the six regions which were part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire until 1918: Banat, Batschka, Slavonia - Syrmia, Swabian Turkey, Hungarian Highlands, and Sathmar. These people have an extensive following of genealogical researchers, who are always on the hunt for related literature; -and who most have a difficult time finding these related items at eBay, because they need coaching how to search and what key words to use. And for the most part these researchers are English speaking, which poses a big problem when searching your data base, because most of the books are in German or Hungarian. For his reason, a neighborhood for the "Danube Swabian / Donauschwaben" people should be set up. And the name should be as quoted because they are the same. How about a site for Decorative Egg Collectors... Like the House of Faberge/Franklin Mint eggs, Avon eggs, etc... We have nowhere to go!!! There are very few of us that collect eggs and so we only need a little bit of space...

I want to start a group called Christian eBayers. I have met several people on Christian music who have asked me to start this group. Christian music does not fit our needs. I think there should be a group where Christians eBayers can meet to encourage each other, offer products of interest to other Christians and help each other to increase their sales. This group would be open to anyone who loves the Lord and would not be any denomination. I think it would be a very popular group and eBay has already established a group for Wicca so I see no reason that you should not open one up for Christian eBayers. There are LOTS of us!!!!! Anyone else out there who feels the way I do?
I agree with fossen123 that a Christian ebayers neighborhood would be perfect. I have seen that there is one for Wiccans, so I don't know why there would be a problem with it. We are not out to discriminate against anyone, we would just like a group where we could discuss our beliefs and offer encouragement to others. We would accept anyone who wanted to join. In my opinion, the current Christian music theme is too narrow; there are many Christians out there that are not necessarily interested in Christian music. Anyone else out that agrees, please post your thoughts as well!
