So i've had this 2006 expedition for a few months and I decided that it looks too much like the other 10 billion Expeditions on the road. OK, it's silver, so maybe just the other 8 billion silver ones. To get started, I looked around on ebay to see what was available. Anyone who's done this knows the drill: HID blue headlight bulbs... gotta get those. Altezza euro tailights... oh yeah! I got the carbon fiber ones. I added a rear view back-up monitor and camera... didn't get that on ebay, but I probably should have. I got Flowmaster model 40 installed... sweet! Billet grill... check. It's looking a little different now. But I'm nowhere near done.
Next I'm looking for higher-end mats, wheels, tires, brush guard, nerf bars to replace the flat step rails, mirrors with the turn sigal arrows.. that would be nice. I also need cross bars for the roof rack, a cargo carrier for up there, one of those hitch-mount load carriers, body kit and maybe even a lift kit.
I'll post some pics and put a link here for anyone who wants to see the progress.
