Most Recent Posts Sticking With ItPosted Sep-13-08 13:40:57 PDT I have not added any thoughts for quite some time. The job hunt continues and there are several prospects, but for now to help pay for my College loans and other house hold bills I will continue to sew...at least part-time. No Longer a WAHMPosted Jun-09-08 21:01:25 PDT Updated Jun-09-08 21:02:14 PDT As some of you know I just graduated from Washington State University with my Bachelor of Science. I have been lazily looking for a job for the past 3 months. Since I have my 6 month at home there was no rush, but now Im feeling a bit of a rush to join the working world and switch places with my awesome husband who will then take on the roll of "Stay at home DAD!!" Unfortunitely this means when I do get a job in the foreseeable future that NewTraditionDiapers will be put on the back burner. I am currently making up all my supplies into diapers and selling off all my inventory. So in short keep looking at my ebay items and you may find a great bargain.
Just to let you know a large costs me $7.00 to make and a med $6.50, so if you look at my diapers you can see that I pretty much start the auctions at cost. Im looking for a way to cut cost down, so I can pass the savings on to my customers. I just ordered some new fabric called Zorba from Wazoodle and its supposed to absorb 10x its weight super fast. Im hoping this will cut down time and bulk of the diapers I am hoping to get a really trim diaper. Plus if I have time and energy, Im going to try and devise a ONE SIZE diaper. Of course all of these plans depend upon how fast I find a job and what the demands are going to be for the position. Little BreakPosted May-24-08 16:59:11 PDT Just wanted to let everyone know I am slowing down diaper production due to my new job that is out of home. I will be posting just a few items in the evenings until things slow down for me. Thanks everyone for being patient and continueing to buy my items RequestsPosted May-09-08 11:04:06 PDT I just wanted to let everyone know that I do take requests. If you would like something in a certain size or color...please let me know. Its very hard to guess what people are going to want or need and I welcome the feedback. Right now I have 5 colors, navy blue, lavender (really pretty), pale pink, white, and red. I also can make 5 sizes, nb, small, medium, large, and extra large but that is for over 35lbs. GratitudePosted May-08-08 11:12:16 PDT I just want to say thank you to all of my awesome customers. I understand the dilema of purchasing from an unknown seller, will the product be good? Is it really what is described? I have gotten some products before that weren't as nice as described, so I do my very best to accurately describe all items for sale and I give 100% or it won't go up for sale. Needless to say my babe has a couple pairs of pants and diapers that weren't perfect, so he gets to wear them. Nothing goes to waste in this house. |
