MAY 8th 2008- Windows XP Home SP3 NOW HERE!Posted May-08-08 13:12:13 PDT Updated May-08-08 13:12:45 PDT From now on, all of my computers shipped with Windows XP Home will be updated to the newest service pack, SP3. SP3 is really nothing more than all of the 100 plus odd downloads and updates that everyone has to do, plus a few simple things. The average user will not notice one bit of difference, and it is entirely stable. For users who did NOT upgrade to IE7, SP3 will NOT upgrade you automatically to IE7, but owners of my computers get Windows XP Home WITH the latest windows browser. If you have bought a computer off me, and want to upgrade, simply start up Windows XP, open internet explorer 7 (Firefox will not work) and go to Tools, Windows Update. Follow all the updates, eventually you will get SP3. |
