Historically the beautiful North Yorkshire town of Scarborough is known as the first holiday resort in England, the Spa dating to Victorian times. Folk have been coming here for generations for the hospitality and to re-visit and to take in the breathtaking scenery including the famous Yorkshire Moors.
Following a general decline in the tourism industry Scarborough Borough Council together with Urban Renaissance have recently set about the task of putting us back on the map. The pro-active council have been busy with local issues and with the restoration of our architecture.
Along with the tourists the antique shops had been one-by-one disappearing leaving only a few small establishments. NORTH BAY ANTIQUES are proud to be the 1st antique furniture shop to join our town's renaissance. We are located in the North Bay area - a 10 minute walk from the town centre and appear to be the attention of all our neighbours and visitors alike. NORTH BAY ANTIQUES has ample parking outside. We hope that other antique shops will follow in time.
