Claims of over charging for shipping.

I have had 2 claims of over charging for shipping and received unfair negative feedback from 2 people who shouldn't be allowed on ebay. The first incident was involing a man who didn't read the description fully and failed to see that the shipping for a 35lb 1990's high speed printer and extra toner cartridge was to be figured out at 40 lbs and that the bidder should check on shipping charges to their zip code before placing a bid. When he won I searched for three days and even had him try to find cheaper shipping but he couldn't either so he claimed I was padding shipping and didn't pay for it and left negative feedback stating it was my fault. The funny thing is that when I relisted the same item the next winner happily paid the shipping and left positive feedback.

The next guy purchased 2 football cards from me and emailed me after the auctions ended to see if I could combine shipping. When I told him I couldn't because they were already packaged and ready to ship he flew off the handle and called me names and swore at me in the most immature ways I have seen since I was back on the playgound in grade school. I was going to combine the shipping and waste the padded envelope but he respond so fast and immaturely that I quickly changed my mind. He then escaladed it by threatening to come to my house. I receive many unwelcome emails from him and was very polite at all times while he was being completely out of control. I reported him to ebay and law enforcement officials and am still working with them to come to a conclusion to what is going to happen with the case. He finally stopped after I reported him claiming that he talked to ebay on the phone and they said I was to blame which is completely untrue. He then got upset when I left him negative feedback, as if I was going to have a change of heart after all of the threats and misery he put me through. All because he didn't read a simple description stating to contact me before placing a bid.

So please, if you want to bid on my items, do so but read all descriptions thouroughly before hand and IM me at anytime and I will get back to you ASAP.

All you can do is keep your descriptions as short and concise as possible since many buyers will just skip right over important information.

all the threats and what not are ridiculous and shouldn't have to be dealt with, but I do have to say that refusing to combine shipping on 2 football cards is a wee bit lame. It's not as if you'd spent hours packing them, was it?
