One of the greatest investment portfolio is investing in rare and unique banknotes. The return can be very high. Investing in the right banknote require some knowledge. You must first have an interest in banknote collecting before making an investment. It is usually a long time investment. If it is a short term investment, you are probably trading them. Keeping banknotes is both rewarding and a agreat investment for me. Beware of fake banknotes whether in alteration of serial number ( if you are a fancy number collector ) or a rare banknote. It will be good to have them check with experts.

Do not end up keeping the fake banknote for years before you realised that it is a fake banknote. Usually when you are about to sell away the banknote, you will be in for a rude shock. If your banknote is a valuable one, do have it certify by your country's grading houses. It will be much easier if you intend to sell them away in the future.

I'm back for my second entries on my blog...

Back in 2006, I started a blog on my banknotes collecting hobby. There were a few entries entered. A year has passed. When I check my blog. It is still there. It was just like yesterday when I wrote the entry. It did not grew old. It did not get deleted. I tried signing into the blog but I just cannot remember my login and password. I tried to retrieve my password but everything failed. Anyway, when I have more time, I will working on the password and login. For the time being,just let it freeze in time. When someone read it, they still think that I am still working hard on the blog unless they start looking at the date of the entries. It's still an interesting blog if you are into banknote collecting.

I started getting tips from great blogger from my region ( of course from Singapore ) by reading some of them. It is the style of writing and strategy that bloggers deployed. I don't think I have any strategies at the moment. Just write what I like which concentrate on banknotes collecting.

This is my first attempt at blogging. Since I am selling world banknotes, I will write on banknotes. Incidently, this banknote collecting hobby of mine is already more than 20+ years. My current collection focus on world solid number 555555 and 888888.

Banknote collecting is an interesting and addictive hobby. Once you get hooked, you will have a bit of problem getting out of it. There are so many ways of collecting banknotes. Most importantly, you need to specialize your area of collection. Without specialization, you will find your collection containing all sort of banknotes. Your collection become an aimless mass of banknotes.
