Hello everyone, in my last blog I had told everyone about our mishap and loosing one of our Saint Bernards, two days before Valentines day, and how we tried to find a companion for the one left behind. That one was his son Junior,well after a long search with Sain Bernard rescue we just had no luck at all.

Well, we pondered and pondered about getting a puppy, (another Saint Bernard) and we did.

I waited 5 months to send in his Pedigree papers, because my husband wanted a color Pedigree. So I waited till the pup was 5 1/2 months old, took a great photo, and submitted it, and low and behold, 1 week later I get the pedigree in the mail. I pulled it out and I went histerical !

YES, THE LORD WAS REACHING OUT TO US !

I'm reading the Family Tree from the new pup, and I see on the mothers side of the pup, The name of the father Saint Bernard to the one that we lost. I almost didn`t believe it, so I asked my daughters to read it and they confirmed it. I ran upstairs and woke up my husband to tell him, and he was "Oh My GOD !" I showed him and he couldn`t believe it. And to make sure that I wasn't barking up the wrong tree, I called the lady that we had gotton Miller from ( the one we lost in Feb) and she verified it.

You know when I got divorced and my ex husband made me give the family dog away, and he was run over, I said to my children years ago, I will never have another dog UNLESS, I can take care of it from start to finish, and it was atleast 7 years before we got another one, and then we bred him out and kept one of the pups, so we had father and son.

Our lives have been so fulfilled by having them in our life and our home, we wouldn`t have had it any other way, When we had to euthanize Miller due to a stroke at the age of nine and severe hip dysplacia, he couldn`t stand or walk anymore, it was the hardest thing we had ever had to do, we held him till his last breath, but he suffers no more and he is waiting for us in that grassy green meadow , over the Rainbow. He is now made whole again.

It turns out that Millers dad  KC FAT BOY "FAT FAT" is Millers dad, and also Great Grandpaw to the new pup we got, Leaving the son Junior Great Cousin to the pup.

So you see , part of Miller came back to us,thru the new puppy "Mozart"

 and "Junior & Mozart " are cousins.

Life is a Gift, Yesturday was a Moment, and tomorrow is a Present !

Well , I beleieve that I have done something worth while today !

 I was listing on ebaY and I decided to check out this "Donate a portion or all to Charity" They have a charity here in Minnesota , that actually will help foster pets of our soldiers that have been deployed abroad, and take care of them till "They Come Home".

I beleive that,  that is a good cause ! If you have not checked it out already, I suggest you do. Their are all kinds of Charities and you can look up any one in particilar, and in your own state too !

So I just listed an item and I'm going to give 50% to that charity, of that one particular item.

I have been reading the blogs about a few very upset sellers for mystery auctions........... So I decided to take a designer handbag and try to list a Mystery Auction..... It would not let me..... Loop hole people?.....If you call it a "SURPRIZE AUCTION" and list in  everything else and then in other, you'll be able to get it posted. Let's see if they give me a violation and remove my listing...

And by the way did anyone else out their get a ebay policy and user agreement policy notification change email?

Well I did, and at the end it says " You need do nothing if you accept the changes", and if you opt out, they will gladly show you "How to close your Account" Now what is up with that?

Do they even want us anymore ! Or is that the way they are trying to slowly get sellers to leave aswell?

I'm not feeling the love here  ! How about you Folks?

I have posted a new photo of our newest addition to our family, after loosing Paw Paw Miller, one of our Saint Bernards. We had father and son and we lost the Paw Paw. He was very sick and we honestly beleive that he had a stroke.We held him as he took his last breath, and let me tell you .... That was the hardest thing that we ever had to do. We have our days, still grieve, and Junior does too. We wanted to make him happy and distract him from grieving, but that is something that you just have to let them go thru.. As sad as it is to watch, try giving then the unconditional love that they have given you, they need it too !

We now have his ashes, and we made a little memorial with terra cotta bricks that I made and in the three has his full name, Miller Genuine Budsky.

We worked with Saint Bernard rescue to obtain another companion for Junior, and it just didn`t work out.

So we got a puppy (another Saint) and well we wondered for  weeks if that was the right thing to do, He still showed no interest, but 4-5 months later these two are now inseperable.

So here we have our newest addition, and he is so photogenic..............

And his name is.......................................................................................

Sir Mozart Von Barquesallot

So to all you big dog lovers out their, their could be no other than a Saint.

HELLO FELLOW EBAY'RS, IT HAS BEEN A WHILE SINCE I HAVE WRITTEN, AND INMEANTIME THAT LATEST HAPPENING TO ME WITH EBAY.........

I RECIEVED A NOTIFICATION THAT YOU COULD LIDT ANY VEHICLE FOR $1.00, IT WAS A THREE DAY ORDEAL.

SO I LISTED MY CADILLAC ELDORADO, THE RESERVE WAS VERY LOW, FOR SUCH A NICE VEHICLE, AND THE BIDDERS WENT CRAZY, NEXT THING YOU KNOW THE RESERVE WAS MET. AND THEN WENT HIGHER BY A FEW DOLLARS.

THE AUCTION STATED THAT A DEPOSIT WAS DUE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AUCTION CLOSE.... ALMOST 99.999% ALL EBAY'RS DO THAT SAME IN THEIR LISTINGS.

WELL, DAY ONE GOES BY, NOTHING, DAY TWO GOES BY, NOTHING, DAY THREE, DAY FOUR, DAY FIVE, STILL NOTHING, SO I REQUESTED FROM EBAY, THE USER ID CONTACT INFO, THEY SEND IT TO ME.

THEN I DECIDED TO CALL BEING THAT THEY WERE VERY LOCAL PEOPLE HERE IN MINNESOTA, AND I LEFT THEM A VERY NICE AND VERY POLITE MESSAGE................ NO RETURN PHONE CALL. DAY SIX GOES BY, NOTHING.

DAY SEVEN COMES AND STILL NOTHING, NOW THIS CLOSED ON THE 29TH OF JUNE, WE ALL HAVE OUR FEE'S DUE ON THE 1-5TH OF THE MONTH .

I PAID MY DUES, AND WAS CHARGED $109.00 FOR THE FVF. BUT THE PEOPLE TURNED OUT TO BE DEAD BEAT BIDDERS, I CALLED EBAY, AND THEY SAID THAT I HAD TO FILE A DISPUTE, WHICH BY THE END OF DAY SEVEN I HAD ALREADY DONE, AND NOW I HAVE TO WAIT SEVEN MORE DAYS TO GET THAT FVF GRANTED BACK TO ME.

I DO NOT BELEIVE THAT THAT IS FAIR, AGAIN WHO IS OUT TO PROTECT THE HONEST SELLERS, IT'S ALL THOSE SHEISTERS ( BAD SELLERS ) THAT HAVE MADE EBAY MAKE ALL THESE CHANGES , I LET THEM KNOW HOW DISSAPOINTED I WAS .... BUT THEY DIDN`T SEEM TO CARE.

WHEN I ASKED WHY ALL THE CHANGES, AND ALL SO SUDDEN, THE REPONSE WAS" WE ARE KEEPING UP WITH THE CHANGING MARKET AND TIMES"

THATS WHAT BUSH TRIED TO DO, AND LOOK WHAT HE HAS GOTTON US INTO ! A BIG A _ S RECESSION !

THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE ARE GETTING LAYED OFF , LOOSING THEIR JOBS , AND THEY ALL HAVE BILLS TO PAY AND FAMILIES TO FEED. I FEEL FOR YOU PEOPLE, I TOO HAVE BEEN VICTIM OF LOOSING MY JOB AFTER 4 YEARS AT THE SAME PLACE, AND ALL DUE TO A BOSS  THAT FELT INFERIOR, AND VERY INSECURE, DUE TO MY KNOWLEDGE . SHE TOLD ME TO GO F _ _ _

MYSELF AND THE COMPANY STOOD BY HER !

I started selling on eBay to help downsize the years of accumilation, I love garage sales, but cannot have one of my own, due to where we live. So I sell on eBay, which has been a good outlet for me and my family. We have sold Cars, Canoes, mostly plus size fashions, top notch items at a mere fraction of the price. Andmostley every person has been very happy with their purchase. I have recieved 4 negatives and have sold over 2000 items, and with these new eBay policies, and ratings , and Feedback changes, it is becoming most difficult  to continue. I have become a vitim.

The postal service have uped their rates 5 times since I started selling. Then eBay has uped their fee's , offering mere sales as  seller insertion fee's for a day. Then they made their changes to the way that feedback can be left. Now what does that tell us,GREED might be settling in ? You know what happens when GREED sets in don`t you? You eventually loose all.... I started out on Yahoo many many years ago selling and they got greedy and made changes and then they went out of buisness with the auctions. I know that alot of now current eBayer's have started out on Yahoo also, we know you veterans are out their, and correct me by saying, things were better when things were basic.

I have had three disputes filed against me in the past year thru Paypal,the first one was a NEW IN BOX twister fries maker machine and the lady or gentleman claimed that it was dirty, used , still potatoe peels in it and water. I had to laugh at that one, well i told paypal the truth and files a complaint, and well lets just say that they never followed thru with their dispute, because THEY KNEW THEY WERE LYING !

The second dispute was a lady claimed the blouse i had sent her was not as described, tags were old and faded, I gave her the option to return it and refund her money, and she did return it, I WANT SO BADLY TO SEND THIS TOP TO EBAY OR PAYPAL to show that it is new , and that the tags are not old and faded.

 The third was someone who claimed I stated the sizes wrong, I told her to return and would give refund, instead she was sooooooooo quick to file a dispute, she claimed she never got the response , WELL, HELLO WHEN YOU HAVE NUMEROUS EMAIL ADDRESSES, and nver check the old ones you still have refistered with ebay, that is my fault, I DO NOT THINK SO !

 My auctions clearly state that POSTAGE IS NOT REFUNDABLE ! and then they want return postage refunded as well.  Who is going to protect the seller from all the GYPSY BIDDERS out their, they are just going out of their way to get something for nothing. And the seller is left holding the loss from paypal refunding full price with shipping, and the negative feedback from the buyer.

Who in their right mind was it that made this policy change that a SELLER CANNOT LEAVE BAD FEEDBACK, for the most crappiest bidders that create false user id's bid like crazy, and leave the seller having to file to get FVF granted?

Who looses here? We the seller, it appears to me that the buyer which also should be protected from some dishonest sellers, and we know that their are some that do ruin it for the honest ones, But who is backing us up ? Ebay will not , Paypal will not !

It also appears to me that eBay will loose alot of people and that they will be going elsewhere to sell, It's only a matter of time before this happens and then when the chiops are down it will be too late to make a good comeback ebay.

 I'm sure we all can relate to this posting in one fashion or another, I'd like to here from those who also feel the same.
