I believe in God, but I don't think he would be defined as most "religions" see him. It's sorta my own thing lol. Having never been exposed to any one religion has helped me be much more open I think..I've also never read the bible so that part doesn't impact my thoughts on the matter.

Lady, I hope none of that pertains to things I've asked? I am honestly curious, as someone who has never been to church yet believes in God, in how others form opinions/beliefs etc. No need to get all bitchy about someones questions.

It doesn't really matter where the label came from. If your beliefs fit in with that definition, then you have found your niche.

Molly, that's where I get stuck.....I can't follow something, whatever that something might be, because it makes ME comfortable....How does that help me learn? How do we change if we only stay within our comfort zones?

It's my own confusion on a topic I am interested in and it does help me to read what others have to say.

In church we are taught that the true definition is to be Christ like..not that we will ever be LIKE HIM in the manner of without sin...but we can strive to and do all that he did..like serve one another, look to The Father, ask forgiveness, babtised in water, preach the gospel..etc..so that is what the CHrist Like definaition comes from..but it means way more than i can explain..lol
