We Are Still Here, Just in Transition

First off, let me say thank you to everyone for your patience and support.  For those who do not know the main catalyst for this venture, Lynn VonDemfange, passed away suddenly in early February.  To say that her death threw Oldstuffologist for a loop is perhaps the world's greatest understatement.  She was the heart and sole of this operation -- and cannot be replaced.

For now, OLDSTUFFOLOGIST is in transition as it tries to figure out what the next move is.  We will be selling for the short term and, yes, some of the items listed will be things from Lynn's personal collection.  Others will be things that were always intended for sale.  From there we will just have to see.

Tonight we began listing actual NEW items.  Check it out.  More will be listed in the near future.

Dear Chip, Suddenly I feel a great loss... although I have never met Lynn I have purchased many incredibly lovely lots from her and have conversed with her via email. She always made me smile & I could tell she was a very special and unique person - the kind others would be drawn to. She gave me encouragement & told me to trust my instincts with regards to creativity. I knew there was change in her life (not to mention local) & could tell by her listings and "commentary" that she was offering her ebay followers different items - just as unique as she was! I admired her for bringing that great flea market - antique fair kind of merchandise to ebay! It kept it fun and exciting!

So I feel this painful little void for a woman I never had the pleasure of meeting, but certainly wanted & expected to enjoy her personality and experiences. She was SO interesting and I will miss her & feel dearly saddened by the loss of her.
