Honey, being a former rice burning kinda girl, I fear for you wanting a Ninja! I think fast bikes should be banned until you are old enough to be out of your parent's home. It would be so much easier on your folks to think it was purely your decision to wrap yourself around a tree! I sold my Kawsaki 500 (fast and light) to a guy who was so very happy to buy it from a gray-haired old woman. Little did he know what that bike went through! I could keep up with my Ninja biker friends on the twisties if I hung over far enough. I don't want that for you! Keep your shiny side up!

My son, at your age, had a Ninja and let me tell you, your parents will need some meds when you start riding it. You may think you will just ride and be safety consious and all will go well. Then, along come your friends and the race is on. My son had a wreck that, had he not been wearing a leather jacket and helmet, he would be dead now. No, it wasn't his fault but the fault of an idiot driver in a car that pulled out in front of him!! I'm an old lady and my son is now an adult with a son of his own. Please, be very careful and rather than a fast bike, get a Kaw KZ750 or maybe others can give you info on bikes that will save you gas and not put you in the morgue. BTW, my son won't let his boy have a sport bike!! My hubby and I ride Kaw KZ900 and Yam 250. Good luck!!
