Most Recent Posts Thank You Gifts By Georgette!!!Posted Dec-11-06 09:38:46 PST I received my Secret Santa gifts!! I was so excited! Linda sent me a wonderful purple candle! The aroma is equalled only by the wonderful soaps that I buy from wonderwomankim. :) I have great plans for this candle. ;) She also sent me a pretty pair of earrings. What a wonderful surprise this was. Thanks again to Veronica for setting this all up! And thanks so very much, Linda!! Happy holidays all!! Good morning, sunshine!Posted Nov-20-06 09:09:53 PST I really have nothing in particular to say. I just felt like popping in. It's been a while. Maybe too long... maybe not long enough, depending on who you are and how you feel about me. :) Things seem relatively peaceful in blogland, minus the usual complaints. But that happens everywhere.... I have been listing my yeeyaws off. I love it! I don't know exactly what a yeeyaw is, so don't ask. I just know that I don't have them anymore. :) That might explain the weight loss. Apparently yeeyaws don't weigh that much. I've lost about a pound. But of course, that could be directly relateld to the morning tinkle. Who knows? So, I think I have rambled sufficiently for the time being. Much Ado About Nothing comes to mind. But when it comes to wasting time, I have it down to a science... it's really rather an art, I think. On a final note, these tiny ants are ticking me off. One bad thing about Florida... we have ants here that most people don't realize exist. And every variety likes everyones home. The little buggers! Perhaps I should just take my glasses off. Then, I wouldn't be able to see at least two of the varieties. If I can't see them, they don't exist, right? Kinda like dust mites. But that's another creepy thought for another day. :) Have a great one all! Good morning world!Posted Oct-21-06 07:37:18 PDT I have been getting some wonderful messages from so many of you. I want to start by saying "thanks so much!" Then, I read the post that toy started here, and I have to say, I was touched. Thanks so much to all of you. :) I was laughing so hard... then when I got to the part that said I was sighted with Elvis... well, that was too funny! You guys rock. It is true that I have been pretty ill. But, on top of it, I bought so much inventory this past week that my head is spinning. Not quite exorcist style, but close. I have been trying desperately to get through it all and list in the meantine. It seems I am doing drive-bys all over the place. Hopefully, things will smooth out very soon... then I can get bck to some serious blogging. I miss coming here. You all, well, almost all, brighten my days. And, I have to say with all sincerety that I miss you, too. :) Have a great day. Hope to Blog you soon. :) The No Monger strikes again...Posted Oct-17-06 06:14:35 PDT Updated Oct-17-06 06:14:53 PDT Dear Mr. & Mrs. No Mongers, Thank you for your continued help. I appreciate that you have been helping to make my guides and reviews more and more popular. Even the No votes help toward that end. It must have really been quite fun to sit and hit me nearly 100 times to watch me fall only about 25 in rank. What a lot of time and effort you have put into helping me. I really appreciate your time and effort. Thanks again! Here we go again... the No monger. :)Posted Oct-14-06 22:49:33 PDT Yep, it's true. I am being hit again. I just got another 20 No votes in the past few minutes. :) I was just about to break the top 200 reviewer barrier... Oh my how people go berzerk when they feel threatened... And to think, lil ol me could have such an effect on someone. :) froggie... here's my Ramen noodle recipe... or cooking instructions. :)Posted Oct-14-06 13:59:35 PDT First take your unopened pack of Ramen noodles and bend it in half. Dont bend it too far or the package will bust at the seam. Next, turn your pack 90 degrees and bend it in half again. Now your noodles are quartered. Now, open your noodle packet. Be careful not to lose any of your precious noodles on the floor. If you do, don't be alarmed. Just apply the five-second rule, retrieve your fallen noodles, and put them with the other noodles into a large, handled mug. If you do not have a mug of this variety available, a glass measuring cup will do. One of the 4 Cup variety is preferable. Now, add enough water to cover your noodles. Let your tap run for a bit to allow the water to get hot. It will cook faster in the microwave. The amount of water you use may vary, dependant upon if you are into the "soup." Do not use less water unless you are into the type of noodle that resembles a rice cake in texture. Open the small flavor packet that is included in the noodle pack. Pour the contents of the packet into your noodle vessel. Stir to get it all wet. Place your vessel and its contents into the microwave. Cook on high for two minutes. Carefully remove vessel from microwave when you hear the “ding.” I must warn you to use extreme caution during this stage. When you heat food in a microwave, it may get hot! Now, with a fork, scoop up some wonderful noodles. Blow on them with your mouth. Then, partake. Repeat the scoop, blow, and partake process until your noodles have cooled enough to not burn you lips. Once they have cooled, simply continue to scoop and partake. Enjoy your lovely meal! You deserve it after all your hard work. eBay gave me my Blog post back!!!!Posted Oct-14-06 13:32:17 PDT I cannot believe it! eBay gave my blog post back to me, complete with comments!
