Yes, Virginia, there are freaks selling fake perfume.Posted Apr-23-08 11:13:10 PDT Updated Apr-24-08 11:47:10 PDT Relating to my earlier post, yes, there are alot of shady looking listings. Sorry, but it's true. Though, it does pose a question. If you buy a fake without knowing, and without ever smelling the original, how do you know it's a fake? I guess you wouldn't, unless it obviously doesn't smell the way it's described. But then again, that's a whole 'nother angle. Or, maybe it has an odd color/note/whatever, that you feel compelled to seek out a comparison sample or two. Honestly, I have had several ask me if my scents are authentic, and if I 'guarantee' that the scent is 'authentic', and I've been trying to decide how to address this question.
I have no way to guarantee them. You'll just have to take my word for it, just as I did when I bought it. All I can say is, I have no reason to believe they aren't the real thing (otherwise I certainly wouldn't try to sell them, & I would be really pissed even more about my credit card bill). Sniff on.
