SORRY I AM SO LONG GIVING  YOU 'LL THIS RECIPE.

GOOEY BUTTER COOKIES

1(8OZ.) PK. CREAM CHEESE/SOFTENED(CAN BE LOW-FAT)

1/2 CUP BUTTER("BLUE BONNET, MARGARINE, IS WHAT I USE)

1 EGG

1/4 TSP VANILLA

1 PK. YELLOW CAKE MIX

1/4 CUP WHITE SUGAR

PREHEAT OVEN 350

IN MEDIUM BOWEL CREAM , TOGETHER CREAM CHEESE & BUTTER(MARGARINE/I USE LOW-FAT).

STIR IN EGGS & VANILLA, ADD CAKE MIX, STIR UNTIL WELL BLENDED.

ROLL, IN TO 1" INCH BALLS AND THEN ROLL THEM ONE AT A TIME INTO WHITE SUGAR. PLACE 1" APART ON UNGREASED COOKIE SHEET.

BAKE 10-13MIN.

I LIKE TO TRY ADDING  DIFF. THINGS TO RECIPES.

I CRUSHED PECANS , AND ROLLED COOKIE BALLS  IN THAT FIRST, THEN IN WHITE SUGAR.

THEY WERE GREAT!

THIS IS SOMETHING YOU CAN DO WITH THE KIDS TOO.
