Misty Morning.

It's a misty old, gray morning here in Prague. On the way to the studio I turned a corner and saw a shimmering ornage row of trees. It was glorious...the trunks and branches black...and the leaves were raining down. I gathered up 10 or so and will maybe paint them.

That's my weather report...what's it like where you are?

I Caught a Phish.

I just spent 15 minutes proving that I'd caught a phish. I would hate to let anyone down so when an e-mail came from 'tmcneil2hv7' asking where the 'item' was...I raced to check. I was pretty sure I had not missed a sale...but I still double checked. Nasty waste of time.

Fall, Three Trees, Autumn by Booda

The Wine Lover.

My first UK listing. I have listed previously only on eBay.com (US), this time I am offering my work on the UK version. This work is auctioned in British Pounds. Starting bid £19.99. ($40). I'm wondering if anyone else has done this, offered items on different ebay sites...does it make any difference at all?

'An Apple Cornered' wine series - only 2 Days left - now $10.50

An original painted in red wine...see my items....

As Above, Not So Below.

This week I had several requests for art prints, I completed them today and will post to the US over the weekend. I print them with an Epson Pro 4000 large format printer and pack them myself. The Pro 4000 is simply incredible, great colour, detail and speed. To add to that you could have heard my monocle pop when I first realised the prints come out of the machine bone dry...and un-smudgable. So if you're thinking of making your own prints and posters you ought to consider this range. The print quality is truly outstanding. So called 'giclee' print should have a standard, if it did, it would be of this Epson range and above. Unfortunately many 'giclee' fall far short.

My large art prints are currently just $39.99 from my eBay store.

Advice eBayers?? - Grants Bike Blog, victim of fraud.

Does anyone have any advice???  - A blogger pal o' mine bought an item from eBay. It was broken and clearly not as advertised. He tried contacting the seller, he tried everything to resolve the issue. Silence. After a long while and no satisfaction he leaves negative feedback. A little while later the seller finally makes contact but not to resolve the issue...he threatens negative feedback unless my friend drops his negative feedback. Is this a common story, please advise any and all who may have experience with this kind of ruthless and mendacious behaviour. The whole sorry story is on Grant's Bike Blog....and buyer beware!

Does eBay always notify you when you sell?

In every case eBay has notified me by e-mail when I sold something. But not tonight. Not just once but twice. I'm looking into it...but any insights you experienced ebayers might have are greatly appreciated. Any ideas why eBay didn't notify me of my 2 latest sales tonight?

If you suspect a fake - what do you do?

I saw something on eBay the other night. Almost certainly not what it claimed to be. It had many bids, It occurred to me that someone was about to get ripped off. Has this happened to anyone? what did you do? I wasn't 100% sure and I guessed I'd have to be. But then how can you be?
